Coordinates People affair. This department serves as an advocate for both the organization and the people who work in it. HR performs a constant balancing act to meet the needs of the organization and that of the employees. HR Management refers to the policies and practices involved

in carrying out the people aspect of management which includes:

 

  • Recruitment and Placement – Hiring etc
  • Learning and Development – Training etc
  • Talent Management
  • Reward (Compensation and Benefit) – Payroll etc
  • Performance Management – Appraisal etc
  • Industrial and Employee relations
  • Change Management and Communication – Organizational structuring and development

 

HR functions as a Group in Obijackson Group. All subsidiaries in the Obijackson group have HR domiciliation in them. HR presence are manned by smart and proactive individuals who have dual reporting line to the HR Head at the center and the administrative head of the location or Subsidiary.

 

HR Objectives

  • To employ, utilize and retain able and motivated workforce, to accomplish organizational goals.
  • To establish and maintain organizational structure and desirable working relationships among all employees and stakeholders of the organization.
  • To create opportunities for individual/group development so as to match it with the growth of the organization
  • To meet the organization’s objective by ensuring that every employee performs adequately if given the required training, welfare, condition and environment.

 

ADMINISTRATION (Admin department) handles a whole lot of key roles ranging from:

  • Office Services – Coordination of the work place.
  • Facility Maintenance – Ensuring the work or residential environment is secured and maintained (Cleaned, Arranged and repaired if broken) to guarantee staff efficiency.
  • Logistics – The part of supply chain that plans, implement and controls the effective flow of both man and materials from one point to another.
  • Procurement - The full range of activities related to the purchasing/acquisition of goods, services and works from an outside / external source.
  • Store – Involved in the storage of materials (Stationeries, Equipment, Consumables, Items, Utensils, Petroleum products) for the organization.
